The lonely Dead Star Region had a visitor after ten years.
It was Li Yue again.
Her injuries had completely recovered. As soon as she entered the Dead Star Region, souls began to follow her.
The souls uttered faint roars.
"I want to find the Lord of the Dead Star. Can you help lead the way?" Li Yue said with a smile.
The souls babbled a few murmurs, presumably because they did not understand.
But there was no need for them to understand either.
The pitch-black mist around Li Yue wrapped around her body and quickly pulled her in front of Chen Xia.
"What do you want from me?" Chen Xia stood on the dead star, asking doubtfully.
"I want...I want..." Li Yue stammered a few times before finally shouting, "I want to apprentice. Are you available?"
"Very inconvenient." Chen Xia rejected mercilessly, then frowned and said, "Look at me, I don't look like someone who can teach others."
His whole body was filled with dark and thick fog, and it was also full of death air. He looked nothing like a normal cultivator at all. Chen Xia didn't understand why Li Yue wanted to apprentice under him.
Li Yue waved her hand to explain, "You are the most powerful cultivator I have ever met, and you were also an elder of the Azure Sky Sword Sea. Aunt Li Yang used to be apprenticed to the Azure Sky Sword Sea, so if I worship you as my teacher, it should also count as joining the Azure Sky Sword Sea."

Li Yue frowned, very puzzled.

"Who is that red-eyed old man you mentioned?"
"The Guardian Elder," Chen Xia answered immediately, and then explained, "He can also be called the Vice Leader of the Azure Sky Sword Sea."
"So this old man is the vice leader!" Li Yue understood, but was surprised again soon after, "Vice... Vice... Vice Leader?!"
He was the supreme figure in the entire star region!

"The Azure Sky and the Sword Sea are uninhabited. The place where people actually live is on a huge sword in between called the Immortal Sword."
"There is a pavilion at the sword's tip that stores secret manuals of mystic arts, and a sword forest with three million flying swords at the sword's hilt."
"I know about that," Li Yue said excitedly. "Aunt Li Yang said that the three million flying swords in the sword forest were all taken away by one person. When she went to the Azure Sky Sword Sea at that time, she didn't get to take a single flying sword."
She crossed her arms, snorted coldly, and commented, "That person is so selfish. How can anyone take the swords like that? He should have at least left Aunt Li Yang a couple."
Chen Xia glanced at her but said nothing.
After chatting for a while longer, but not going deeper, just some ordinary layout of the Azure Sky Sword Sea.
Li Yue listened with great interest. Near the end, she raised her eyes and suddenly asked,
"What about Chen Xia? Isn't Chen Xia the most powerful descendant of emperor in the Azure Sky Sword Sea? Can you tell me about him?"
"Forget it. I'm not very familiar with Chen Xia." Chen Xia declined with a shake of his head.
"Oh, alright." There was some disappointment on Li Yue's pretty face. After a while, she spoke again in a begging tone, "Can you really not accept me as a disciple?"
"I can't for now." Chen Xia shook his head in refusal.
"Then can you in the future?" Li Yue heard something implicit.
Chen Xia nodded and said lightly with a smile, "You're welcome to join after you die."
Li Yue was stunned for a moment, then rolled her eyes, feeling there was no point. She turned her head to look ahead, and her expression suddenly froze.
Hundreds of millions of souls were pushing a huge dead star.
And this dead star looked exactly the same as the one that disappeared a few years ago.
Even more horrifying was that the dead star kept throbbing, like an embryo about to give birth. Cracks could even be seen on its surface, as if lives were about to be born out of it.
She turned to Chen Xia in shock.
On the lonely dead star, Chen Xia smiled lightly and said,
"Life and death are just a cycle. The Dead Star Region has always been a place where the living dare not get near, let alone any vitality. But now it's different..."
His smile grew wider, and he continued smiling,
"I want... to seek life through death!"
