Encountering a Cute and Clumsy Witch on a Night Walk Chapter 3

"..." Su Ze was speechless again. He removed Uesugi Akizuki's hand, placed the straight sword on the table behind him, took off his trench coat, and asked, "Would you mind sleeping with me?"

Uesugi Akizuki shook her head.

Su Ze went to the living room to turn off the lights, returned to the bedroom, closed the door, tucked Uesugi Akizuki in, and lay down beside her.

Su Ze had no inappropriate thoughts about Uesugi Akizuki. While humans have their base instincts, he had his own principles.

Although his principles might be hard to find even if you dug three feet deep, they did exist.

While he had no thoughts about Uesugi Akizuki, it didn't mean she felt the same way about him.

Su Ze quickly fell asleep.

Beside him, the innocent girl stared at the ceiling for a while, blinked, then quietly inched closer to Su Ze, gently holding his hand before falling asleep contentedly.

The next day.

The aromatic smell of food wafted into the bedroom. Uesugi Akizuki, who had been sound asleep, wrinkled her pretty nose and sat up abruptly. Having risen too quickly, her soul hadn't caught up, and her head swayed before she fell straight back down.

Su Ze finished cooking and returned to the bedroom to find Uesugi Akizuki lying in bed, staring motionlessly at the ceiling.

Su Ze approached and picked her up. The girl struggled briefly, and when she saw him about to put her down due to her resistance, she quickly wrapped her arms around his neck.

...

Su Ze was exasperated, "I thought you were paralyzed and wanted to carry you to breakfast. Since you're fine, walk by yourself."

Despite the girl's protests, Su Ze placed her on the bed. She had to accept her fate - she could have gotten to breakfast with less walking, but just because her hair got caught and she adjusted her position, she ended up being heartlessly placed on the merciless soft bed.

The girl shuffled out of the bedroom slowly. Su Ze frowned in disapproval, "Where are your shoes?"

The girl looked at her pristine bare feet - she had forgotten to put on shoes in her eagerness to eat. After being scolded, she trudged back to the bedroom with slight resentment to put on her shoes.

Su Ze wondered how impressive that girl must have been to help someone as naive as Uesugi Akizuki hide for three days.

Looking at the girl with vibrant wine-red hair wolfing down her food at the table, Su Ze fell into deep thought.

He went to the balcony and lit a cigarette, contemplating how to deal with the executor who would soon arrive.

Speak of the devil.

The doorbell rang, startling the girl eating in the living room so much that she broke her bowl with a crash.

Su Ze hurried back to the living room to find Uesugi Akizuki sitting dazed on the sofa, her face, wine-red hair, and white shrine maiden outfit covered in rice and porridge, completely blank-minded. He couldn't help but feel both amused and helpless.

He grabbed a towel and pressed it against the girl's head, giving her a quick wipe until she looked somewhat presentable, before going to answer the door for the executor.

At the door stood a suited man in his thirties, who sized up Su Ze, who was a head taller than him. "Are you Su Ze?"

"Yes," Su Ze nodded and stepped aside. "Please come in."

The middle-aged man entered the living room and saw Uesugi Akizuki sitting blankly on the sofa, licking rice grains from around her mouth. He fell into deep contemplation.

Why does she seem a bit dim-witted?

Despite being so beautiful, why does she give off such a country bumpkin vibe?

After Su Ze explained everything, the middle-aged man nodded but looked at Su Ze sternly, "Are you sure you can handle this responsibility?"

"I am," Su Ze said seriously.

"However..." the middle-aged man hesitated.

Su Ze opened his phone and handed it over.

The middle-aged man saw the Huaxia University admission notice on the phone and immediately showed great respect!

"Huaxia Forerunner, forever safe!"

"Huaxia Executor, forever safe!"

Uesugi Akizuki stared blankly at the two suddenly serious men.

Finally, the middle-aged man asked no more questions, reported Uesugi Akizuki's presence, registered her, and arranged for a temporary ID card.

After seeing the middle-aged man off, Su Ze sat pensively on the sofa.

Uesugi Akizuki's appearance was purely accidental. Su Ze hadn't actually wanted to keep her at home indefinitely, he just didn't want to hand someone so naive over to the executors.

But by twist of fate, he had become this girl's guarantor.

Su Ze flicked the still-dazed girl's forehead, "Why are you so spaced out? You made such a mess just eating."

The girl looked at him resentfully while covering her head.

"Go take a shower, change clothes, then I'll take you shopping for clothes," Su Ze pointed to the bathroom.

Su Ze decided to keep her at home after all. If that girl who helped Uesugi Akizuki escape came looking for her, he would capture her and get answers.

Uesugi Akizuki walked into the bathroom, and Su Ze followed with clean clothes. After teaching her how to use the shower and other facilities, he left.

Listening to the running water in the bathroom, Su Ze thought the girl was quite perceptive, but somehow, he felt worried.

Just as the thought crossed his mind, there was a loud thud from the bathroom. Su Ze felt his ears ring - this silly girl was truly beyond help, managing to fall even while taking a shower.

Su Ze didn't rush in immediately, instead knocking on the door, "Are you alright?"

After waiting a while, there was no response.

Could she have passed out from the fall?

Su Ze turned the doorknob to find Uesugi Akizuki crouching naked on the floor, staring blankly into space.

Water droplets fell on the girl's pristine body, her youthful curves impossible to resist.

Though the current scene was quite stirring, and the prospect of prison meals for three days seemed almost acceptable, as if he could endure multiple rounds of punishment, Su Ze maintained his principles. With a stern face, he said, "Could you at least make a sound if you're not dead?"

Drip. A drop of blood fell from the girl's nose, followed by an unstoppable stream, flowing continuously like a broken dam.

It seemed only upon seeing Su Ze did she come to her senses, remembered falling, and realized it hurt. She began to sob, tears mixing with the shower water as blood continued to flow from her nose, being washed away only to surge forth again.

Su Ze turned off the shower, retrieved the medical kit from the room, found some gauze, wiped the girl's nosebleed with tissue, and then inserted the gauze to apply pressure and stop the bleeding.

Uesugi Akizuki gazed at him with her beautiful eyes. Su Ze looked at the blood-stained naked girl and held his head, feeling a headache coming on.

"What are you looking at? Keep staring and I'll eat you up!" Su Ze pretended to be fierce to scare her.

The girl was genuinely startled, her head jerking back, but the next moment, this beautiful-faced, wine-red-haired silly girl just gave a simple smile.

This time, Su Ze felt his heart melting.

It took reciting the Diamond Sutra dozens of times to calm his excitement.

Su Ze picked her up and placed her in the bathtub, turned on the water to fill it, tossed her a towel, and sat beside the tub playing with his phone while keeping watch to prevent any accidents.
