Does this world have other transmigrators?
Lin Feng felt the chances were pretty high.
Although when he first transmigrated here, he had searched for some time, hoping to find compatriots in this different world...
But it was all to no avail.
However, Kandis had told him before that in the various historical books and documents she had read, some ancient magics could transport people from other worlds here, and there seemed to have been successful cases a hundred years ago.
Last night he dreamed of other transmigrators.
Not only were they ruthlessly greedy, but they even tried to kill his wife.
If it wasn't for Lin Feng's abilities in the dream, those villains would have succeeded.
Sigh...
He was rich enough already, and his wife was so beautiful. If he really encountered transmigrators who coveted her, what could he do?
And anyone who was a transmigrator would probably have abilities like his own.
A sense of crisis suddenly arose.
Lin Feng looked at Emily, her blank expression showed she probably couldn't be relied on.
So he could only place his hopes on Yuna and Rosa Linda.
"Yuna."
"Hmm?"
"From now on, I want to set a goal for you."
Yuna looked puzzled. She glanced at Emily and asked in confusion, "Shouldn't you be telling us about some dream you had?"
"After thinking it over, I've decided not to tell you."
The three beast-eared girls pouted and lightly punched Lin Feng in succession.
"Even though we're already married, I've told you all my secrets, yet you still keep so many secrets from me, that's not fair at all." Emily put her hands on her hips and looked at Lin Feng in disdain.
"I'll tell you eventually, no rush." After appeasing Emily, Lin Feng turned to Yuna and said,
"I want you to find a way to defeat me."
"I've always been working towards that goal, hoping I can become stronger than you and defeat you." Yuna lightly swung her magic crystal greatsword, sending out a terrifying gust of wind. "That way I can protect you."
Lin Feng felt very gratified and gently rubbed one of her beast ears.
This girl actually had such determination. He'd have to reward her with a good meal sometime.
"Since Yuna says so, then..."
Lin Feng raised his eyebrows at Rosa Linda, hinting slightly.
She put her hands on her hips and said solemnly, "Since we're living with you, of course we can't freeload. I will also become stronger, then protect you."
"No matter how arduous?"
"Of course, though at my age I definitely can't compare to the young'uns."
"Don't be silly." Lin Feng smiled meaningfully.
Rosa Linda's face flushed red in embarrassment.
These were originally very ordinary words, but only the two of them understood the deeper meaning.
From her expression, Lin Feng guessed she was probably planning to sneak attack and shoot him when he least expected.
"Sneak attacks won't work either. That time you took me to the forest to find the Tian Ze flowers, you seemed to sleepwalk and kill monsters at night. When I woke up the next morning, there were corpses all around." Emily draped her arm over Yuna's shoulder and stretched lazily like a cat.
"I'll regularly test you all. I hope to see improvement every time." Lin Feng patted Yuna and Rosa Linda on the shoulder.
"What about me?" Emily looked around blankly. "They both have goals, what's mine?"
Lin Feng stroked his chin and carefully looked Emily over.
This silly girl wasn't skilled at fighting.
She could provide support and take care of household chores during her free time. And at night, if convenient... hehehe, she could also help him relax.
"Just do whatever makes you happy."
"Then I want to have a baby." The words slipped out of Emily's mouth, but she immediately changed her tune less than a second later. "I also want to get stronger!"
Lin Feng swallowed and thought her first sentence was probably her true thoughts.
"Even though I know I'm weak, I'll still work hard to catch up with you all. I don't want to just be a vase." Emily lightly tugged on one of her bunny ears.
Since she said so herself, then he could continue the ruthless training...
Lin Feng took them out of the city.
They walked north for nearly two days.
He estimated that after a few more days they should be able to see the sea.
The northernmost edge of this continent was a vast ocean. Kandis had taken him to play here a few years ago.
If possible, he now wanted to take the beast-eared girls to play.
The ice age should have passed by now...
"Have you seen the sea before?"
"What's the sea?" Emily, ever the curious one, asked first.
Now they were on a plain. As soon as they reached the plain, Yuna released her wild nature and frolicked about catching wild rabbits in the grass.
"Hmm... you can think of it as a lake so vast you can't see the other shore. The scenery is very beautiful." Lin Feng looked towards Rosa Linda, figuring she would have broader experience.
"Don't look at me, I haven't seen it either."
"Do you know how to swim then?"
The bunny girls shook their heads.
"Since that's the case, let's go to the seaside to play after we finish this dungeon. It'll be a nice chance to relax." Lin Feng pointed north. "The Sea of Oblivion up north. Every summer many travelers go there to play. I want to take you all."
The two bunnies blinked and nodded.
They weren't particularly curious what the sea looked like. They just felt Lin Feng seemed to especially want to go, so they would tag along.
Like last time at Ulu Valley.
They weren't interested in alcohol, but under Lin Feng's strong recommendation they chose to try some.
This time, a filthy Yuna came back carrying a rabbit in each hand.
"Master, we don't have to gnaw on rations now. We can roast these rabbits for our meal later..."
Yuna stopped mid-sentence as her gaze landed on Emily and Rosa Linda's bunny ears.
The two of them were also looking at Yuna.
"It feels a bit strange, but we can eat rabbit too."
"Don't mind our bunny ears. We're actually not that different from humans." Rosa Linda took the lively bouncing rabbit from Yuna and shoved it into her bag, holding it by the ears.
Lin Feng nodded. He could attest that most parts of their bodies were identical to humans.
Emily looked at the rabbit struggling wildly in the bag and glanced up at Lin Feng. "Do we slaughter the rabbit now?"
She had already drawn out her habitual bone dagger.
"Let's keep it alive for now. We'll kill it when we want to eat, to have it fresh." Lin Feng reached out and tugged on one of Yuna's beast ears.
"Ow!"
"Do you have any cute clothes?"
Yuna secretly eyed Lin Feng and mumbled softly, "Oh? I do. It gets stinky if you don't change clothes for too long."
She also had her own ulterior motives.
"Then it's settled. After we finish this dungeon, let's go to the seaside." Lin Feng blinked sincerely.
