"Do you really want to kill me?"
"Yes, really. I've said it before - I hate being deceived more than anything, and you repeatedly tricked me using the souls of Black Water Village's residents. Therefore, you must die!"
"I wasn't trying to deceive you. I only wanted to scare you away, but who knew you'd be so temperamental..."
The Mirror Demon tried to explain, but Gu Qingfeng interrupted: "But you did deceive me, and you even swindled me out of two copper coins."
The Mirror Demon's eyes widened: "That's not my fault! That Dog Leftovers had a mischievous personality when he was alive, and his soul's actions were guided by instinct."
"Enough, enough. Just go and die."
"Wait, I have one last thing to say."
"Speak."
"I think one thing you said was very right."
"Which one?"
"Villains die from talking too much!"
The Mirror Demon's face suddenly turned grotesque, and his body began emitting a white light, becoming completely transparent in that moment.
The Mirror Demon had been speaking nonsense just to buy time and accumulate power!
His nearly transparent body, to Gu Qingfeng's astonishment, moved with lightning speed - whoosh! - and somehow bypassed his Diamond Body defense, diving straight into Gu Qingfeng's body!
Simultaneously, the Mirror Demon's arrogant laughter echoed inside Gu Qingfeng: "Hahaha! Gu Qingfeng, your body is mine now! Become my mirror slave!"
Hearing his "hearty" laughter, Gu Qingfeng couldn't help but smile too.
"Seems you still don't understand. Protagonists triumph through talk-no-jutsu, while villains die from talking too much. Unfortunately for you, I'm the protagonist, so you're finished."
Ding!
You've been attacked by the Mirror Demon!
Mirror Clone incubating...
"Ahhh!" The Mirror Demon suddenly screamed in terror inside Gu Qingfeng's body.
"How is this possible!? What is this power! My body! My body is dissolving..."
The Mirror Demon struggled desperately, but against the system's mighty power, it was completely useless. He could only watch helplessly as he gradually dissolved.
Gu Qingfeng wasn't in a hurry, knowing it wouldn't take long for the Mirror Demon to perish, so he sat down and waited patiently for the outcome.
.......
Outside, in the Mirror Domain.
Having lost their leader, Wang Fatty and Xu Daizi were huddled together in a thatched cottage, seeking comfort in numbers.
Since Gu Qingfeng's disappearance, these two had been on the run, first being chased by five hundred villagers, each holding a mirror. They couldn't fight back - killing a villager would turn them into dangerous mirror shards.
Fortunately, the villagers had been ordinary people when alive, and even as spirits, they weren't very strong. After much effort, the two managed to shake off the villagers and ran into a small forest. They thought they could relax, but then discovered that all the trees and leaves had transformed into mirrors.
Terrified, they turned and fled, finally reaching an open space. But then the sky suddenly became turbulent, and a smooth mirror surface was slowly revealed behind the clouds.
The sky itself had become a mirror.
Panic-stricken, they hurried back to Black Water Village and hid in an empty thatched cottage.
"Xu Daizi, what should we do now? What does the book say?" Wang Fatty whispered.
"The book says, 'As Heaven maintains vigor through movements, a gentleman should constantly strive for self-perfection,'" Xu Daizi whispered back.
"What does that mean?"
"Rely on ourselves."
Wang Fatty was about to pinch Xu Daizi's soft waist in frustration, but suddenly, a series of footsteps sounded outside - clearly villagers searching for them.
Both men tensed up immediately. They exchanged glances, deciding they couldn't just wait to be caught - they might as well fight.
They drew their standard-issue long sabers, crafted by the skilled artisans of the Demon Suppression Bureau. Though standard-issue, the blades were incredibly sharp, with surfaces as smooth as mirrors.
As smooth as mirrors...

In the Mirror Space.
As the Mirror Demon's voice grew weaker, he began calling for help - not from Gu Qingfeng, but from the Blood Divine Son!
"Lord Blood Divine Son, save me! Save me!"
Gu Qingfeng was slightly startled - who was the Blood Divine Son? The Mirror Demon had mentioned him briefly before.
However, Gu Qingfeng's confusion didn't last long, as the Blood Divine Son soon appeared.
"Useless fool! This lord's revival is imminent, yet I must waste power on such trash as you. After this, you will blood-sacrifice ten thousand people to me!"
An icy, stern, and authoritative voice echoed from within Gu Qingfeng's body.
Gu Qingfeng was bewildered again - why was there another demon inside him?
But he quickly realized that this Blood Divine Son wasn't actually inside his body, or more precisely, he was inside the Mirror Demon!
Damn, it's like Russian nesting dolls!
"Yes, yes, yes! If my lord can save me, I'll offer the blood of a hundred thousand people afterward!"
Hearing "hundred thousand people," the Blood Divine Son was immediately satisfied. He emerged from the Mirror Demon's body, appearing in the form of a single drop of blood.
This blood drop was as brilliant as a ruby, crystal clear, but emanating an extremely evil aura accompanied by a nauseating bloody smell.
The Blood Divine Son looked around disdainfully inside Gu Qingfeng's body: "Hmm? This youngster's physical body isn't bad, barely qualified to serve as this lord's vessel."
As he spoke, the blood drop suddenly shattered into countless tiny droplets, spreading throughout Gu Qingfeng's body, beginning to completely corrode his physical form, and then...

Blood Concentration +10+10+10...
"Ahhh!"
A piercing scream echoed inside Gu Qingfeng's body - it was the Blood Divine Son.
"How is this possible!? What is this power! My body! My body is dissolving..."
Gu Qingfeng scratched his head in bewilderment, thinking: "Did this guy come here just to be a joke?"

grated, and just when he finally managed to get into an elite academy, he discovered that he actually had a system, and the way to earn rewards was extremely ridiculous. So for the sake of rewards, he had no choice but to start acting ridiculous as well. Su Cheng: "It's nothing but system quests after all." But later, what confused Su Cheng was that while he was already quite ridiculous, he never expected those serious characters to gradually become ridiculous too. And the way they looked at him became increasingly strange... (This synopsis doesn't do it justice, please read the full story)

e bizarre and supernatural had descended. The previous emperor was a thoroughgoing tyrant; no longer satisfied with human women, he had set his sights on a stunningly beautiful supernatural entity. He met his end in his bedchamber, drained of all his vital essence. As the legitimate eldest son and crown prince, Wang Hao was thus hastily enthroned, becoming the young emperor of the Great Zhou Dynasty. No sooner had he awakened the "Imperial Sign-In Intelligence System" than he was assassinated by a Son of Destiny—a classic villain's opening. The Great Zhou, ravaged by the former emperor's excesses, was in national decline. The great families within its borders harbored their own treacherous schemes, martial sects began to defy the imperial court's decrees, and border armies, their pay and provisions in arrears, grumbled incessantly against the central government. Fortunately, the central capital was still held secure by the half-million Imperial Guards and fifty thousand Imperial Forest Army who obeyed the court's orders, along with the royal family's hidden reserves of power, barely managing to suppress the realm. As the Great Zhou's finances worsened and supernatural activities grew ever more frequent, the court sat atop a volcano. Ambitious plotters everywhere dreamed of overthrowing the dynasty, and even some reclusive ancient powers emerged, attempting to sway the tides of the world. At the first grand court assembly, the civil and military officials nearly came to blows, fighting tooth and nail over the allocation of fifty million taels of silver from the summer tax revenues. The spectacle opened Wang Hao's eyes—the Great Zhou's bureaucracy was not only corrupt but also martially proficient, a cabinet of all-rounders. Some officials even had the audacity to suggest the emperor release funds from the imperial privy purse to address the emergency. Wang Hao suddenly felt weary. Let it all burn.
