My Power Relies on the Imagination of My Enemies Chapter 28

Lv Cheng felt a chill down his spine as he saw Qi Yuan's gaze. He raised his arm and looked around, but he didn't see anything wrong.

"What... What's wrong?" he asked.

"Just looking at a lucky goose," Qi Yuan replied.

Lv Cheng couldn't make sense of this answer. Qi Yuan was such an annoying riddle person.

"Sister Shi Jun asked me to take you to meet someone at the admissions office. Brother Yuan, are you also going to attend Shen City University?" Lv Cheng asked.

Qi Yuan was a bit surprised. Wasn't he only chosen to join the patrol team because he was just good enough? How come he was also a top student at Shen City University?

"You too?" Qi Yuan asked.

Lv Cheng raised his eyebrows and didn't show any modesty. He proudly patted his chest.

"I'm your senior, so I can give you some military training strategies."

"Oh."

This guy was either trying to trick others or himself. Qi Yuan was not interested in his so-called strategies.

Lv Cheng, a social (anxiety) terrorist, kept chatting all the way. They arrived at their destination while he was still talking.

When Qi Yuan saw the building, he couldn't help but breathe a sigh of relief.

If Lv Cheng kept talking like this, he would develop social anxiety too, but in a completely opposite direction.

Lv Cheng brought Qi Yuan to the interview room and watched him enter before finding a place to sit down.

The interview was expected to take a while, so he decided to pass the time by playing a game of "King of Glory."

The game interface had just finished loading when the door of the room creaked open.

Qi Yuan walked out of the room, and the admissions office teacher smiled warmly, with wrinkles on his face resembling chrysanthemums.

Lv Cheng was dumbfounded as he watched Qi Yuan bow to the teacher and take his leave. He rubbed his eyes to confirm that he wasn't seeing things.

"You're done so quickly?" Lv Cheng asked, although he had a vague answer in his mind.

"Yeah," Qi Yuan nodded naturally. His ordinary and unremarkable handsome life was just like this, without any teasing or mocking.

No wonder the handsome geniuses in cultivation novels couldn't match the protagonist in terms of talent. The main reason was that they didn't have any teasing. How could a handsome genius jump off a cliff, enter a secret realm, and break into the empress's chamber...

Well, the last part can be skipped.

Lv Cheng couldn't believe it. He had just praised Shen City University to the skies, almost belittling Jidu University, and now the admissions office of Shen City University pulled this on him.

"No, what's the interview process like?" Lv Cheng asked.

"Why are you curious about that?" Qi Yuan looked at Lv Cheng suspiciously. Was he really a student of Shen City University?

"I want to gain some experience and share it with my junior sisters in the future."

Did he forget that I'm also his junior?

Qi Yuan raised a question mark in his mind but ultimately satisfied Lv Cheng's curiosity, mainly because he didn't want to become socially anxious.

"I went in, bowed, sat down, handed over the prepared documents, and introduced myself briefly. That's it."

That simple? Lv Cheng grasped the key point.

"How did you introduce yourself?"

"I'm Qi Yuan."

"That's it?"

Lv Cheng sighed. Even an elementary school student wouldn't be as perfunctory as him. Why didn't he mention something like 'I'm involved in this and that business with someone'?

"I was going to mention which high school and which department I'm from, but the teacher said it was enough."

Sigh...

Lv Cheng took a deep breath, determined to make a significant contribution to global warming.

This must have been arranged by the Qi family, right?

Absolutely, right?!

The rumored strongest abilities—money power and influence power.

Fortunately, Qi Yuan didn't mind his actions; otherwise, his master might have tied him up and sold him directly.

"Brother Yuan, you must live well."

After going through all these troubles, if Qi Yuan had a little accident and the Qi family blamed him, he would be in big trouble.

Qi Yuan shook off Lv Cheng's attempt to cling to him, took a few steps forward, and created some distance.

That abnormal guy in his mind increased again...

Sometimes words slipped out unintentionally. Qi Yuan was just thinking about the daily life of a handsome guy, which was usually uneventful, but he was immediately proven wrong.

"You... Don't come over. This is my boyfriend."

Turning around the corner, a woman rushed out and grabbed the hem of Qi Yuan's clothes, hiding behind him.

Several big men chased after the woman.

They wore loose vests, with tattoos on their shoulders or arms. Their casual stances and sly expressions, combined with the looks they collectively directed at the bald-headed eldest brother standing in the middle, clearly showed an internal hierarchy of boss and underlings.

Anyone with eyes could tell that they were street hooligans.

Upon hearing the woman's words, the hooligans burst into laughter.

Lv Cheng found it amusing to look at this group of ruffians. They were like holding a lantern while looking for shit.

They were so short-sighted, not as good as the fat guy last time.

The eldest brother pointed his finger at the woman, shaking it up and down, making a classic Jacky Cheung expression. "Look at yourself. Are you worthy?"

The eldest brother spoke, and the underlings immediately followed suit.

"Look at this toad wanting to eat swan meat. It's hilarious."

"She's more delusional than we are."

"At least we know how to force a melon, but she's daydreaming."

Calmly waiting for Brother Yuan to slap them, Lv Cheng was dumbfounded.

What nonsense were they talking about? Are they possessed or something?

In the previous second, he was trying to disappear from the sight of these hooligans, and in the next second, the woman stood aggressively, hands on her hips, glaring at the hooligans as if she could take on ten of them alone.

"Who was just harassing me? So, you guys specifically look for ugly women, is that it? How am I not worthy?"

Ranting and raving, she then turned her head towards Qi Yuan and Lv Cheng.

After getting a clear view of Qi Yuan's face, she stared blankly for a few seconds, slightly opening her mouth.

With all eyes focused on him, out of courtesy, Qi Yuan turned his head to look at this woman who suddenly appeared, waiting for her to continue.

The woman shook her head, regaining her composure.

"I'm sorry, you guys are right. I'm not worthy."

After saying that, she grabbed Lv Cheng's arm. "Ahem, I made a mistake just now. This is my boyfriend."

$%#&...

Lv Cheng had a lot of vulgar words he wanted to say, but when the woman blinked her eyes several times with a "please" expression on her face, he resisted the urge.

With her long black curly hair and a perfectly fitting mature-style dress that accentuated her delicate face, the faint scent of women's perfume emanating from her captivated Lv Cheng's teenage heart.

This mature and beautiful young lady was simply irresistible; he couldn't refuse her request.

"Ah, yes, it's me, it's me."

The buzz-cut man rested the stick on his shoulder and raised his chin, immediately signaling to his underlings.

A small guy with a pointed mouth and monkey-like cheeks stepped forward from behind the big brother, approaching Lv Cheng with a swagger.

After sizing him up, the crooked-mouth guy smirked and said, "You think you can steal my big brother's woman? Take a good look at yourself before you do anything stupid."

Lv Cheng: !!??

Why is it different now? How come I'm not good enough anymore?

The woman with long flowing hair hooked her arm around his and leaned slightly towards him without making direct contact. "No matter what he looks like, he is still my boyfriend. I appreciate your big brother's intentions. Let's go."

Wait, this is different from before too?

With a stiff and cracking sound, Lv Cheng's neck twisted in disbelief. Apart from Qi Yuan, everyone on the scene wore a regretful expression, as if a flower had been stuck in cow dung.
