"Shiya, I have something to ask..."
"Let's talk later, okay? Xiao Xuan."
Mo Xuan had wanted to ask, but Luo Shiya smiled and interrupted him, then turned her head to look out the car window at the ever-changing cityscape. Today, the driver had taken them to the hospital, and the two of them sat silently in the back seat, not saying a word.
For some reason, the atmosphere felt heavy. Mo Xuan tried to speak several times, but seeing that Luo Shiya never turned her head, he didn't press further.
Back at the estate, Mo Xuan calmed down the two little ones who rushed to him. His mind was full of questions, but Luo Shiya just sat on the sofa, a faint, enigmatic smile on her face.
Luo Muqi hadn't come downstairs, and it was unclear what she was doing in her room.
"Xiao Xuan, can you do me a favor?" Luo Shiya suddenly said softly. "There's a book called *Relativity* in my study. Could you bring it down for me?"
(As mentioned in Chapter 43, the switch to the secret room.)
Mo Xuan was puzzled but nodded, telling his daughters to wait for him. As he walked up the stairs, he turned back to Luo Shiya: "Shiya, can we talk later?"
"Of course, Xiao Xuan. I'll tell you anything you want to know," Luo Shiya replied gently. "But first, could you bring the book down for me?"
Mo Xuan didn't answer and turned to go upstairs, not noticing the smile on Luo Shiya's face.
It was a strange smile, almost sickly, yet confident, as if her prey had already fallen into the trap.
Mo Xuan entered Luo Shiya's study. Usually, if he wanted a book, Luo Shiya would get it for him. When she wasn't around, he never entered casually, as the study contained some confidential documents from the Luo Corporation.
Even though they were close, it was better to avoid overstepping boundaries.
Mo Xuan quickly spotted the book *Relativity* and reached out to pull it from the shelf. To his surprise, it seemed stuck in place. Curious, he pressed on the book, and suddenly, a hidden door to a secret room slowly rose.
Mo Xuan couldn't believe his eyes. How could there be a secret room in Luo Shiya's study? An uneasy feeling washed over him, and as if compelled by some force, he slowly walked to the entrance of the room.
The walls were covered with photos of him. In an instant, Mo Xuan realized that Luo Shiya had done this on purpose—she wanted him to see this.
Even so, he was stunned by what he saw. Photos from high school, college, and even after he had lost his memory. The most prominent one was a photo of him with Luo Shiya and Luo Muqi before his memory loss.
Beneath the photos was a table with several blue folders and scattered A4 papers, all filled with his name.
He recognized Luo Shiya's handwriting. At first, it was neat, but as it went on, it became increasingly chaotic. Mo Xuan could almost see her calmness turning into madness as she wrote.
Under the dim light of the secret room, Mo Xuan saw the top folder labeled:
**"Phase One Report."**
He slowly opened it. The first page contained Luo Shiya's notes:
*"I already know Xiao Xuan's current situation, but Muqi and I don't have the strength or leverage to make the family compromise."*
*"Just as Xiao Xuan once told me, his family life wasn't happy. I want to take him away immediately, but I can't. My parents adopted him into the Luo family because he saved Muqi and me, but they wouldn't agree to let us be together."*
*"I've arranged for Sister Hui to keep an eye on him secretly. I'll handle anything that threatens him."*
Mo Xuan glanced at the date—it was from his second year of high school. So, Luo Shiya had been planning this since then?
But back then, Luo Muqi was only a freshman in high school!
As he flipped through the pages, most of the notes were about his high school life. Every time Su Yanran was mentioned, Luo Shiya used words like "bitch," "liar," and "thief."
*"That liar has started getting close to Mo Jinpeng. I know. I could let Xiao Xuan find out, but I won't."*
*"I really want to kill her... She took the person Muqi and I treasure most, yet she dares to betray him! But it's fine. To make sure Xiao Xuan stays with us, I'll let her live—just like how I've left the Mo family untouched."*
*"Such a perfect contrast. No matter how disgusting she is, I'll keep her around for now. The worse they are, the more Xiao Xuan will realize how good Muqi and I are to him."*
Mo Xuan could hardly believe his eyes. How much had Luo Shiya calculated? Even the Mo family and Su Yanran were part of her plans?
Yet, she hadn't acted on anything. She simply observed, and most of the report was about him. Others were only mentioned occasionally.
Mo Xuan quickly flipped through the A4 papers until he found what he was looking for:
*"I've thought about using confinement, but... I don't want to hurt Xiao Xuan. Besides, he's Master Zhang's disciple in martial arts, and his physical condition is excellent. I knew that from when we were together."*
*"I haven't figured out the specifics yet, but I have a plan in mind. It's not the right time, though. First, we need something to make him stay with us."*
*"Maybe a child would be the best bond? Muqi told me she doesn't want one, and neither do I... A child would distract him, but it seems like the only suitable reason for now."*
*"Mo Jinpeng wants to frame him, and I know this is our chance. I have a new drug from the lab. All I need to do is make sure he takes it when the time comes..."*
"So, that day wasn't a coincidence..." Mo Xuan murmured as he placed the file back on the table. "Which means... it wasn't Mo Jinpeng who drugged me that day, but..."
Mo Xuan didn't read further because he saw the **"Phase Two Report."** He immediately picked it up and opened it.
*"Muqi and I have found Xiao Xuan. Now we can begin Phase Two. Phase One was the groundwork—I needed to understand him while finding a way to make the family eventually concede."*
*"As for Phase Two, it's the preparation stage. Muqi and I must control our obsessive love for him and provide him with the best emotional support. Of course, material comforts are also important, but they must be just right. Money isn't an issue for me, so that's easy."*
*"He lacks affection, so we'll give him plenty of it. We'll also make sure he feels needed in certain situations. Of course, we truly mean all of this."*
*"Additionally, he needs to be involved in raising and caring for the children. Blood ties are important, but his care is even more crucial. While he takes care of the children, they'll also become chains that bind him to us."*
*"Muqi and I will make him grow accustomed to having us around, then make him dependent on us."*
*"More importantly, only after Phase Two can I proceed to the next stage."*
*"Through hypnosis and psychological conditioning, I'll amplify and solidify everything we've done so far, even influencing his perception to some extent..."*
Mo Xuan felt a chill run down his spine. Even though Luo Shiya emphasized in her notes that everything was genuine, thinking back on the past, he couldn't shake the feeling of unreality.
Everything had been calculated. He was like prey they had been stalking, and they had meticulously crafted a trap, waiting for him to fall into it.
As his trembling hand reached for the **"Phase Three Report,"** a sudden noise came from behind him. Mo Xuan turned sharply and saw that the secret room's door had closed.
Luo Shiya and Luo Muqi stood behind him, smiling. In the dim light, their expressions were unsettling, almost frightening.
"You've seen it, Xiao Xuan," Luo Shiya said softly as she approached him. "Look, these are all your photos. I had people take them, or I took them myself—sometimes even secretly—after we got together."
"You know now, brother," Luo Muqi added, stepping closer. "I know this might seem excessive, but brother, we love you more than you could ever imagine."
The two sisters, one on the left and the other on the right, embraced him just as they had in his dreams. He even felt an inexplicable sense of suffocation.
"Mo Xuan, you won’t leave us, right?" Luo Shiya's gaze no longer concealed anything—it was filled with obsession and madness. "Don’t abandon us again. Whatever you want, I’ll give it to you. Whether it’s me or Luo Muqi, we can give you anything you desire…"
"All you need to do is keep your eyes on us, stay by our side forever…"
"Besides, you can’t leave us anymore, can you?"
This was the first time Mo Xuan had seen them in such a state, the first time he realized that the weight of their affection was far heavier than he had imagined.
But Luo Shiya was right—he couldn’t leave them anymore.
He had grown accustomed to their presence, and his heart had developed an unshakable dependence on them.
In the dimly lit room, photos plastered on the walls seemed to trap Mo Xuan, as if he were imprisoned within the space.
His heart was bound by chains, and the other end of those chains was firmly held by the sisters.
Luo Shiya had achieved her goal. She didn’t need to prepare a cage or chains for him, because Mo Xuan had already been ensnared by them, little by little…
"I understand…" Mo Xuan sighed and smiled helplessly. "I won’t… leave you…"
