Master, Young Master Lin Has Escaped

Butler Wang noticed Su Hua’s pale face and frowned as he glanced at her phone. A location marker was displayed on the screen, labeled with the name "Xuan."

Butler Wang was aware that Su Hua had installed a tracker on Lin Xuan’s phone.

His brows furrowed tightly.

"Why has Young Master Lin gone to such a remote location? And why hasn’t he moved from that spot?"

A dreadful possibility crossed his mind, and Butler Wang’s eyes widened. "Miss, could something have happened to Young Master Lin?"

"No," Su Hua shook her head. "I’ve assigned so many people to protect him. He should be fine."

Despite her words, unease gnawed at her heart.

Su Hua took out her phone and instructed Jiang Qing to track the whereabouts of the two bodyguards assigned to protect Lin Xuan.

Then, she immediately set off with her team toward the location marked on Lin Xuan’s tracker.

Jiang Qing quickly traced the two bodyguards’ movements.

Dressed in a professional suit, she hurried to Tianmu Group.

"Secretary Jiang," Lei Hui said in surprise. "To what do we owe the honor of your visit?"

Jiang Qing was Su Hua’s secretary, second only to Su Hua herself in authority within Su Corporation.

Tianmu Group and Su Corporation had never had any dealings before.

Lei Hui couldn’t fathom why Jiang Qing would personally visit Tianmu Group.

"Where is your boss?" Jiang Qing asked.

"He left the company over two hours ago. May I ask why you’re looking for him?"

Jiang Qing frowned.

It seemed Lin Xuan wasn’t here after all—yet the phone trackers of the two bodyguards still showed them inside Tianmu Group.

She pulled out photos of the two men.

"I’m here to find these two. Do you know where they are, President Lei?"

Lei Hui grew suspicious.

Weren’t these his boss’s personal bodyguards? Why was Jiang Qing looking for them?

Before he could respond, Jiang Qing added, "I know they’re here. Don’t worry—I mean no harm. I just need to ask them a few questions."

Lei Hui hesitated, deep in thought.

Su Corporation was a massive enterprise. If they wanted to act against Tianmu Group, they wouldn’t resort to such indirect methods.

Perhaps there really was an urgent matter.

"Yes, they are in our company," Lei Hui finally nodded. "I’ll take you to them."

"Thank you for your cooperation, President Lei," Jiang Qing replied with a faint smile.

As Lei Hui led the way, he discreetly messaged his secretary:

[Lei Hui]: Quickly release the two bodyguards in the boss’s office!

Meanwhile, the two bodyguards sat on the floor, bound and utterly dejected.

Young Master Lin had tied them up.

They could only pray nothing happened to him—otherwise, their employer would never forgive them.

Lei Hui’s secretary entered and untied them.

One bodyguard scrambled to his feet. "Hurry! We need to report Young Master Lin’s situation to Miss Su!"

Just as they reached for their phones, Lei Hui pushed the door open.

"Secretary Jiang, after you," Lei Hui gestured politely.

The bodyguards immediately recognized Jiang Qing and bowed respectfully. "Secretary Jiang."

Lei Hui’s eyes darted between Jiang Qing and the bodyguards.

They knew each other?

His frown deepened.

This didn’t make sense—how were these bodyguards connected to Jiang Qing?

"Where is Young Master Lin? Didn’t Miss Su assign you to protect him?" Jiang Qing demanded sternly.

"Secretary Jiang, today two men were tailing Young Master Lin—likely with malicious intent. He insisted on confronting them alone."

The bodyguard briefly explained the situation.

"We feared for his safety and tried to intervene, but Young Master Lin knocked us out and tied us up here."

"He even discarded the walkie-talkies and phones we used to communicate with you. We had no way to report his status."

The bodyguard lowered his head in shame.

All they could do now was hope Young Master Lin was unharmed.

"Let’s go find Miss Su immediately."

Jiang Qing’s tension eased slightly.

Young Master Lin wasn’t reckless—he must have had a reason for his actions.

Given his combat skills, he was likely capable of handling himself.

"Understood, Secretary Jiang."

The bodyguards followed Jiang Qing out of Tianmu Group.

Lei Hui’s secretary whispered in astonishment, "President Lei, from what I gathered, those bodyguards seem to be under Su Corporation’s CEO, Miss Su."

Lei Hui was equally stunned. "So, they were sent by Miss Su to protect our boss?"

"President Lei, if Miss Su personally assigned bodyguards to him, their relationship must be significant. They can’t be relatives, so… could they be… a couple?"

"No, that can’t be," the secretary quickly dismissed the idea. "Rumors say Miss Su keeps men at a distance. Why would she have a boyfriend?"

"I think it’s highly possible," Lei Hui mused. "Remember the computer competition last time? Miss Su sponsored it and personally awarded the winners."

"My guess is—she attended that event specifically for our boss."

The more Lei Hui thought about it, the more plausible it seemed.

He stroked his chin.

Next time the boss came to the office, he’d have to corner him for answers.

Meanwhile, Su Hua arrived at the location marked by Lin Xuan’s phone—only to find the device lying in the grass.

She picked it up with trembling hands.

Her subordinates investigated a black car parked nearby.

"Miss," one reported, "this vehicle belongs to Tianmu Group’s general manager. Young Master Lin must have driven it here."

Su Hua’s expression darkened.

The subordinate speculated, "His phone was dropped, and the car is abandoned here… Could Young Master Lin be in danger?"

"Miss, what if Su Sheng or others discovered he’s your boyfriend and kidnapped him?"

Young Master Lin was Miss Su’s only weakness. If Su Sheng or his allies used him as leverage, Miss Su would risk everything to protect him—even her own life.

If that were true, she’d be walking into a trap.

Unfortunately, there were no surveillance cameras in the area.

Hong Yuanjie, who had just arrived, overheard the conversation and seethed with anger.

Just as he’d feared!

That good-for-nothing Lin Xuan was nothing but a liability to Miss Su!

"No!" Su Hua clutched Lin Xuan’s phone tightly. "Xuan is fine."

Her eyes burned with intensity, her voice trembling. "He must have just dropped his phone here. As for the car, he probably parked it temporarily while handling some business."

But beneath her words was a gnawing fear—if Xuan had truly been captured, what horrors might he be enduring?

"Miss," Hong Yuanjie ventured cautiously, "what if… Young Master Lin ran away? What if his affection for you was all an act?"

"Maybe he was waiting for you to let your guard down… so he could escape."
