But, I Refuse

After countless slashes, Ning Yu finally stopped.

The man on the ground still wasn't dead.

In a deep, agonized voice, he pleaded:

"Please... please kill me."

Hearing the man's tortured plea, Ning Yu's smile grew even wider.

She lowered her head, putting her hand near her ear in a listening gesture:

"Huh? What? Speak louder, I can't hear you!"

Ning Yu's words made Shen Yiyue feel like she was facing a stranger.

At this moment, Ning Yu's voice was neither the sweet, soft voice of a little girl,

Nor was it her usual cold, clear tone when she was being serious.

Instead, it was sharp, manic, and pathological, like a yandere girl who had descended into darkness.

The man on the ground struggled to move his throat, an action that took immense effort.

He mumbled again:

"Kill... kill me."

This time Ning Yu nodded dramatically, raising her eyebrows in a show of agreement.

Then she gently placed the blade against the man's neck.

Seeing this, the man thought he would finally find release, and slowly closed his eyes, waiting for the end.

But instead, he heard Ning Yu's demonic whisper:

"But, I refuse!"

The man's eyes shot open, filled with anger, resentment, and despair.

Ning Yu kicked him aside with one swift motion.

The man rolled away but still wouldn't die, writhing on the ground like a stepped-on insect.

"Hahahahahahaha!!!"

Ning Yu's silver hair danced wildly with her maniacal laughter.

The thugs opposite her were momentarily stunned by the cruel scene, unable to react.

Ning Yu looked at them contemptuously while shouldering her blade, speaking again:

"I'm waiting to recover my strength, what are you waiting for, death?!"

The Snapback Man was the first to snap out of this horrifying shock. He roared in a deep, angry voice:

"There's no one else around, attack!"

He finally realized there were no hidden allies in the vicinity.

If there were, arrows would have been fired at the man who had attacked earlier.

His bodyguards were reminded by their boss's words, and they all charged at Ning Yu with their military daggers.

Ning Yu spotted the commanding Snapback Man and pointed her Crimson War Blade at him from afar, her eyes sharp as arrows:

"You! I'll torture you last!"

The Snapback Man shuddered when he saw Ning Yu's playful gaze.

Seeing the bloody mess of the man on the ground, he felt a chill run down his spine and could only try to dispel his fear with a loud shout:

"Quick! K-kill her!!"

As the thugs surrounded her, Ning Yu seemed unmoved, the Crimson War Blade still resting on her small shoulder.

Just as several military daggers were about to strike her, everyone's vision blurred!

Where did she go?!

Ning Yu had completely vanished from their sight.

"Ahh!!!"

"My foot!!!"

Then they heard the screams of several of their companions.

Those men suddenly fell to their knees, then rolled to their sides clutching their feet, their daggers thrown aside.

The tendons and muscles in their legs had been cleanly severed, leaving them unable to stand!

The other thugs all showed shocked expressions - what terrifying speed!

"Hey, where are you looking?"

From the side of their encirclement, Ning Yu stood casually shouldering her Crimson War Blade, as if she had never moved at all.

When did she get over there?!

No one had seen Ning Yu move - it was as if she had teleported there.

Shen Yiyue's pupils trembled in shock; she hadn't seen Ning Yu's movement either.

This speed was on a completely different level from their training sessions!

She knew Ning Yu had been holding back during their training, but she hadn't realized the gap was this vast.

The thugs charged at Ning Yu again, but one of them headed toward Shen Yiyue instead.

He planned to capture this frail-looking girl and use her to threaten Ning Yu.

Seeing this, Shen Yiyue showed no fear and raised her blade to meet him.

She had already resolved to fight alongside Ning Yu!

But before the charging man could engage with Shen Yiyue, his gaze suddenly froze.

The crimson blade burst through his chest, then circled around his left breast.

Then a small blood-covered hand punched through his chest from behind, reaching out through the front!

In that hand was his still-beating heart.

"Please don't try to sneak attack my princess, okay?"

"That's very naughty behavior!"

Behind him was Ning Yu's evil yet beautiful smile.

She squeezed slightly, and the fragile heart immediately burst into pieces of meat.

The thug whose heart had been ripped out collapsed instantly.

The thugs surrounding Ning Yu once again failed to catch her movements.

Yanking her hand back, Ning Yu's entire arm was covered in blood.

She turned to look at the remaining thugs, their faces filled with hesitation and fear.

Ning Yu shouldered her blade again, speaking playfully:

"Come on, let's continue the game!"

But this battle had already entered garbage time.

What followed was purely her one-sided slaughter and torture.

The silver-haired little girl alternated between maniacal laughter, loud crying, and fury, her emotions wildly varied.

For these thugs, her laughter, crying, and roars all became death knells.

They were taken down one by one, tortured, completely powerless to resist.

Several of them tried to run, but how could they outrun Ning Yu?

They were brought down in the same way after just a few steps.

One thug had already mentally broken down, lying on the ground with useless legs.

He propped himself up, pointing at Ning Yu with a trembling finger, speaking incoherently:

"You're not... human, what are you?! You're a zombie! You're ugh..."

Before he could finish, Ning Yu thrust her blade through his throat.

She smiled with narrowed eyes:

"How rude, you shouldn't say such things about me, you'll hurt my feelings."

Watching all his men being killed by Ning Yu in such cruel ways,

The Snapback Man couldn't maintain his composure any longer, his calm smile long gone.

His squinted eyes were now wide open, filled with terror.

He turned and fled frantically into the supermarket.

Ning Yu didn't immediately chase after him, her eyes blazing red as she lightly licked her lips:

"Time for the main course!"

A gust of wind rushed past Shen Yiyue as Ning Yu vanished from her spot to give chase.

A playful instruction floated through the air:

"Sweetie, help me finish them off!"

She knew Ning Yu meant to kill the thugs on the ground, who had lost their ability to resist and were covered in blood from torture.

Shen Yiyue took a small breath and walked forward with her blade.

The Snapback Man was about to run out of the supermarket, his face lighting up when he saw the front entrance.

It seemed as if he was about to be saved.

He was still muttering under his breath:

"Damn it! Psycho! She's absolutely insane!"

Just as his foot was about to cross the supermarket threshold, he was suddenly yanked back by an enormous force!
