The Apocalypse: I, a Top Assassin, Became a Loli Chapter 67

"Ning Yu, I noticed you've become quite mischievous."

Shen Yiyue showed a shy expression. Ever since that time she was pushed down, her defensive nature had been completely exposed.

"Let's get back to practice."

Ning Yu stopped teasing her and sat back down.

So in the underground parking lot, Shen Yiyue continued practicing with the motorcycle.

Meanwhile, Ning Yu opened the marketplace interface and searched for 9mm bullets.

The gun they had just confiscated from that man only had less than 10 bullets left - it was probably mainly used for intimidation.

Using it against zombies would be wasteful.

But now they were about to traverse the city by motorcycle.

If they needed to deal with zombies while moving, using the titanium alloy crossbow would be impossible since there'd be no time to recover the arrows.

Using a gun would be most suitable in this situation - the noise wouldn't matter since the motorcycle would be making noise anyway.

However, bullets remained an issue.

Suddenly, Ning Yu's eyes lit up as she spotted something very eye-catching:

[Automatic Infinite Magazine (9mm): 3000 points]

[Provides 150 rounds of 9mm caliber ammunition, auto-fills without manual reloading. Automatically replenishes to 150 rounds at dawn each day.]

It was a bit expensive - 3000 points just for one magazine, and it only worked with 9mm caliber. It wouldn't be compatible with other caliber handguns.

The marketplace had similar automatic infinite magazines for other calibers, but they needed to be purchased separately.

And while it was called "infinite," it actually only provided 150 rounds per day. The "infinite" part probably referred to the daily automatic replenishment.

Still, it was better than buying bullets one by one - the system showed at least some conscience here.

Ning Yu checked her points: 10,530.

The zombies Shen Yiyue had killed along the way had added some points to her total.

However, 3000 points weren't enough to use the half-price opportunity - better save that for more expensive items.

Ning Yu clicked to purchase at full price.

With a thought, a silver-gray gun magazine appeared in her hand.

Feeling the cool touch in her hand, Ning Yu removed the original magazine from the black handgun and replaced it with the new infinite one.

Though initially slightly mismatched in size, the infinite magazine automatically adjusted to fit the black handgun perfectly the moment they made contact.

"Sister Yue, I'm going to try shooting while moving - you should get used to it too."

Ning Yu spoke from the back seat.

This would definitely happen when they actually hit the road, so it was better to practice now.

"Alright."

Shen Yiyue remained focused on her practice.

Sitting on the motorcycle's back seat, Ning Yu aimed the gun at several security cameras in the parking lot - they were useless now anyway with the power out.

"Bang!"

"Bang!"

Several shots rang out, and the cameras exploded on impact, their glass lenses shattering to the ground.

"Ning Yu, your aim is amazing!"

Shen Yiyue was impressed that Ning Yu could hit such small targets accurately while moving on the motorcycle.

She didn't ask why Ning Yu was so proficient with guns, knowing the little imp would just say:

"Just a tiny bit skilled."

Ning Yu checked the bullet's power and confirmed there were no issues - the infinite ammunition hadn't compromised the firepower.

She ejected the infinite magazine and tried to take it apart.

However, while she could disassemble it, the inside was completely empty, despite having just fired bullets that destroyed the cameras.

Her attempt to exploit a bug had failed:

She had hoped that if she could remove the bullets, she could get up to 150 extra rounds each day and accumulate them over time.

But true to form, the watertight system hadn't left even this loophole.

Having tested the effectiveness with these few shots, Ning Yu decided not to waste any more of today's bullets.

Now with this gun and daily ammunition supply, she could start teaching Shen Yiyue how to shoot without worrying about wasting bullets.

"Ning Yu, I think I've got it down!"

"Let's go then."

After several hours, Shen Yiyue felt comfortable enough and stopped at the parking lot exit.

Ning Yu looked up at the sky - the sun was setting, probably around 4 PM.

They needed to find a place to stay before it got completely dark, as night vision would be poor.

"Vroom!"

The motorcycle roared to life as they burst out of the underground parking lot.

The ride wasn't very smooth at first, perhaps due to the heavy front end of the motorcycle, as Shen Yiyue was still getting used to steering.

So she didn't accelerate much, maintaining a medium speed on the road, occasionally detouring onto sidewalks to bypass accident scenes.

"Bang!"

From the back, Ning Yu kept watch, taking out any zombies that got too close with single shots.

Bullets pierced their foreheads, creating beautiful sprays of blood as they fell.

"Head to the distribution center first - we need to get a map!"

The motorcycle was quite loud, forcing Ning Yu to shout, while simultaneously taking out a fat zombie that had lunged from behind a utility pole.

"Got it!"

After riding for a while, Shen Yiyue grew more confident and twisted the throttle to add some speed.

"Vrooom!"

The motorcycle suddenly accelerated, its red hubs spinning so fast they looked like two burning flames.

The sudden acceleration forced Ning Yu to hold onto Shen Yiyue's slender waist with one hand, feeling the soft touch of the girl's abdomen.

Being so close, she could clearly smell the girl's faint fragrance.

Ning Yu thought she must be wearing some kind of citrus blossom perfume - it smelled nice.

"Woohoo! Taking off!!"

Shen Yiyue cheered loudly at the sudden burst of speed, as excited as a child with a new toy.

The motorcycle was already so noisy that they weren't worried about her cheers attracting zombies - they were already the center of attention.

Shen Yiyue showed no fear, and Ning Yu even less so.

"Turn right ahead, then straight until the second intersection, then left!"

Following Ning Yu's directions, Shen Yiyue felt like she had a GPS voice guidance: Ning Yu Navigation, at your service.

The sunset painted the entire city in flames, coating the streets in a beautiful orange-red hue, creating a scene of beautiful desolation.

The black-haired girl and the silver-haired little girl sat front and back on a high-end motorcycle at full throttle, speeding through the city.

Between the streets, undead bodies stumbled about, all growing agitated at the thunderous noise, following behind the motorcycle.

All they could catch was the exhaust fumes.

For a moment, the roar of the engine, gunshots, falling bullet casings, the joy-riding girl's cheers, and the hungry howls of zombies created an alternating heavy metal symphony.

Ning Yu touched the hot gun barrel and adjusted her wind-blown silver hair.

Her amber eyes reflected the sunset as she aimed at the next charging zombie.

The black-haired girl in front, her hair dancing wildly, twisted the throttle again with abandon:

"Hold on tight, Ning Yu! This veteran driver is taking off!!!"

It was quite a scene of apocalyptic street racing.
