Villain’s Diary: Why Does It Feel Like You’re All Acting Against Me? Chapter 201

Little Yu watched the departing Demon Lord and said to Su Luo, "She seems very sad."

"Yesterday, she lost someone important."

"Even someone so powerful can lose someone?"

Little Yu couldn't gauge how strong the Demon Lord was, but just from the aura, she felt that the Demon Lord was incredibly powerful—unfathomably so.

"Some things are very complicated. In fact, nothing that happens is truly unexpected. So sometimes, to prevent things you don’t want from happening, you need to be fully prepared."

Su Luo wondered if she should also prepare something.

Now that the Demon Lord’s strength was recovering so quickly, should she just seal her away?

Never mind, it’s not worth it. It would be beneath her dignity.

If the Demon Lord doesn’t leave by then, I’ll just drive her away once I’m strong enough.

Little Yu nodded, though she didn’t fully understand.

"Let’s go. We’re heading to the next place."

The Heavenly Demon Sect actually had quite a few iconic locations, but Su Luo had been too lazy to explore them before.

The simulated dueling arena, officially called the "Life-and-Death Arena," sounded terrifying, but it wasn’t actually a fight to the death. If it were, the Heavenly Demon Sect would have been wiped out long ago. There wouldn’t be enough people left to duel every day.

There was a special formation here that could materialize spiritual entities for duels, much like an online game.

Unfortunately, the coverage area was limited, only two people could enter at a time, and there was a time limit.

This place was just a small outlet for their bloodlust.

Little Yu didn’t like it here. She felt that the people here were a bit unhinged and too bloodthirsty.

After letting Little Yu take a look, Su Luo took her to the next place. These unpleasant aspects of the Heavenly Demon Sect were something Little Yu would have to get used to.

The Underground Cavern was where the senior members of the Heavenly Demon Sect shared their exploits, writing down their evil deeds in short essays for others to read.

It was, to put it mildly, utterly shameless.

This place was quite popular within the sect. Many people came here to draw inspiration, even replicating the deeds described here, sometimes taking them to even greater extremes.

This was how they built their infamous reputations in the cultivation world.

After reading just one or two essays, Little Yu immediately wanted to destroy the entire place.

Su Luo quickly pulled her out.

"Do you regret impulsively joining the Heavenly Demon Sect now?"

"Can I destroy it?" Little Yu asked instead.

"You can, but only when you reach the Great Ascension stage."

By then, the story would probably be over, and Su Luo wouldn’t care what happened to the Heavenly Demon Sect.

Besides, once Little Yu reached the Great Ascension stage, she could do whatever she wanted.

"Alright."

Su Luo then took Little Yu to the next location.

"The Supreme Tower is where the titled Heavenly Demons gather. The tower master here is responsible for assigning missions to them."

Little Yu nodded, looking at the three-story building. It wasn’t particularly luxurious, but rather simple and unadorned.

"Titled Heavenly Demons are ranked differently. The lowest is at the Nascent Soul stage, while the highest has no upper limit. The stronger you are, the higher you can go to access better missions."

"Such a place exists."

This was essentially the gathering place for the Heavenly Demon Sect’s elite fighters. Only those with unique skills could enter here.

Su Luo decided to explain more, as both she and Little Yu were almost qualified to enter.

Just then, Hu Yirong, the Bewitching Fox, emerged from the tower and spotted Su Luo and Little Yu.

"Well, if it isn’t Su Luo, the Demon Seed. Isn’t this place a bit too advanced for you?"

"I’m not going in. Just looking around. Is that a problem?"

"Of course not. But there’s a mission from Yin Youming inside. He’s offering a generous reward to anyone who can retrieve his lifebound Netherfire from you." Hu Yirong said, playfully sticking her finger in her mouth.

"So, are you going to try?" Su Luo remained unfazed.

Hu Yirong smiled charmingly. "Just kidding. I’d never dare to act against the Demon Seed. I have too much respect for you."

"I’ll take your word for it."

Hu Yirong then turned her attention to Little Yu. "This little sister here has such potential. How about it? Want me to teach you? It’s easier since we’re both women, and I have some unique techniques that are definitely worth learning."

Her sweet voice was almost intoxicating.

"Are you asking to taste my sword?"

Su Luo said irritably. Teaching Little Yu? More like corrupting her.

"That could be fun too~"

Su Luo immediately drew her sword, and Hu Yirong quickly left.

It wasn’t that she was afraid of Su Luo, but Hu Yirong had a habit of not pushing things too far. She didn’t like making unnecessary enemies.

She could joke around, but when things got serious, she knew when to leave.

"What kind of unique techniques does she have?"

"Well..." Su Luo whispered something into Little Yu’s ear.

Little Yu’s face immediately turned red, and she looked like she was about to explode.

They had pretty much toured the entire Heavenly Demon Sect, so it was time to head back.

On the way, they ran into Qing Bukuang.

"Su Luo, I heard you defeated Yin Youming. If you’re that strong, why can’t you do anything about Lin Xuan?"

"If you can lure him to my place, I’ll kill him on the spot."

Hearing this, Qing Bukuang showed a look of understanding. As expected, she relied on external means.

Now fully restored to his usual arrogance, he chuckled lightly.

"That’s all you can do, huh? Well, Su Luo, I’ll have you know that I’ve broken through. I’m terrifyingly strong now."

He then unleashed his full cultivation, stirring up a cloud of dust.

"Is that so? Good for you. I’ve also learned some fire techniques. Next time we run into Lin Xuan, we’ll definitely take him down."

Qing Bukuang felt like Su Luo was joking, but he had checked on the others, and they seemed to have made significant progress too. Maybe next time, they really could defeat Lin Xuan.

But for now, Qing Bukuang warned Su Luo, "I don’t think this one is truly loyal to you. You should investigate her properly to avoid any mishaps."

He was, of course, referring to Little Yu.

"That’s none of your concern."

"Heh." Qing Bukuang was clearly proud of his breakthrough, as he was now the fastest among the younger generation to reach the Nascent Soul stage.

How could he not be proud?

"I’ll prove myself with my sword," Little Yu said, drawing her sword and preparing to attack Qing Bukuang.

"Hey, why are you attacking me just because we’re talking?"

"You disrespected Su Luo."

"How did I disrespect her?"

"Your expression."

"Alright, alright, you’re amazing." Qing Bukuang had no intention of fighting. He still had new techniques to master and didn’t want to waste time here.

He left immediately.

Su Luo looked at Little Yu in disbelief. "Why didn’t you react like that with Hu Yirong earlier?"

Su Luo didn’t think Qing Bukuang had been particularly disrespectful. It was just a normal conversation, and Su Luo wasn’t the type to lash out just because someone had a bad attitude.

If Little Yu considered that level of disrespect worth fighting over, then Hu Yirong’s behavior should have been too.

"I couldn’t beat her."

"And you think you can beat Qing Bukuang?"

"I feel like I can."

Little Yu felt she could take on Qing Bukuang, but Hu Yirong was out of her league.

"Not bad. You’re learning to be flexible."
